I. selection of compatible inks

qualified inkjet printer inks require ultra-small molecular weight, moderate permeability, a certain viscosity ratio, chemical ink transfer assistance and precise chemical synthesis sequence password. Only when the above conditions are met, the ink can be sprayed smoothly on the nozzle and the printing accuracy can be guaranteed. Good inkjet inks are often strict about the technical requirements of chemical synthesis. If effective measures are taken in time, the chemical composition of the ink is wrong. After filling, the new ink will react with the original residual ink to form colloids or crystals. This failure will almost immediately scrap the nozzle. At present, there are many compatible ink brands in the market. Don't take low price as the selection standard, and don't trust some promises that are not guaranteed. Qualified compatible inks should have the following characteristics:

1 The ink has high concentration, but small molecular weight, good temperature stability and good fluidity in a wide temperature range

2. The synthesized ink has stable chemical properties, can be stored for a long time in a wide temperature range, and there is basically no viscosity change, crystallization and sediment

3. The chemical synthesis code of ink color molecules during chemical synthesis can be recognized by the nozzle electrode, so that the arrangement order and viscosity of color molecules in the ink during printing are appropriate, and can be controlled by the electrical signal of the printer to achieve precise synchronization of ink-jet points, so as to achieve the effect of beautiful graphics and texts and clear hierarchy of detail performance

4. The requirements for paper are not too high, and ordinary paper can be printed; The ink in the nozzle is not easy to solidify and does not block the nozzle

the physical and chemical indexes of inks in various ink cartridges are different due to different manufacturers. After the original ink in the ink cartridge is used up, if the nozzle is not damaged, you can add ink and continue to use it. However, if you use poor quality ink or use non inkjet special ink, it may cause damage to the printer, which is generally shown in the following two points. First, the ink with inappropriate chemical composition will corrode the printer nozzle cleaning pump nozzle unit or produce a large amount of crystalline dirt on this unit, making the nozzle unable to continue to use and damaged; Second, because the password of the ink is not recognized by the nozzle electrode, a large amount of supplementary ink will be sucked into the waste ink collector, causing premature machine pollution. At present, there are compatible inks of Zhihe, Shenjie and other brands in the market, which have high reliability

second, add ink to the Epson ink cartridge

Epson's manual states that the ink cartridge can no longer be used after it is removed. This is caused by the special structure of the ink cartridge. If the ink cartridge is removed halfway, air will enter the nozzle pipe, resulting in disconnection during printing. Moreover, the disconnection at this time requires several times of cleaning before the air can be extracted, so Epson warned the user that the ink cartridge cannot be used after it is removed, so as to prevent the user from removing the ink cartridge at will. However, Epson ink cartridges do require higher skills in inking than other brands of ink cartridges. This is determined by its nozzle structure, cartridge structure, nozzle cleaning method and other factors. The print head of Epson inkjet printer is designed as a split structure of nozzle and cartridge, and only stainless steel ultra-fine filter is installed on the ink outlet of the cartridge, and the nozzle is not installed with filter. Most of the faults are caused by the replacement of the cartridge and the printer with high frequency of use. If compatible ink is used for filling, be sure to keep the empty ink cartridge well. After being removed from the machine, seal the ink outlet with adhesive tape as soon as possible to prevent dust from entering. When choosing inks, we must choose inks with reliable physical and chemical properties, and the supplementary inks used must not be mixed with different brands

epson printer's nozzle will bring in air in addition to changing the ink cartridge, and it will also bring in air if the method of filling ink is improper. So when adding ink, slowly inject it, let the ink settle to the bottom of the cartridge, and don't leave air at the bottom of the cartridge. The specific method is: use the accompanying rubber plug to block the ink outlet hole, or use a transparent rubber strip to seal the ink outlet hole (wipe the residual ink on the original sealed paper first, and be sure to seal it). Open the paper seal on the ink cartridge, and you can see that there are two holes on the ink chamber of each color (two holes on the black ink box), and there are small grooves through the vent hole, the other is the ink injection hole, and the ink injection hole of some ink cartridges is blocked with a rubber plug, Both holes can be inked. The inking amount shall not exceed the capacity of the sponge. After inking, paste the sealing paper back, be careful not to seal the ventilation groove completely, and pay attention to eliminate the bubbles in the bottom sponge. After standing for 10 minutes, seal the ink hole with adhesive tape, and directly put the ink cartridge back into the printer; If you seal the ink hole with a plug, remove the plug, there will be ink oozing, wipe it off with a paper towel, and quickly put it back into the printer. The inking must be gentle, so that the ink sinks to the bottom. Too fast is easy to leave the air at the bottom, resulting in broken lines during printing. The specific steps of inking are as follows:

1 After removing the ink cartridge from the printer, seal the ink outlet with self-adhesive paper to prevent ink from flowing out of the ink outlet when adding ink

2. Remove the adhesive paper on the top of the ink cartridge to expose the ink injection hole

3. Insert the pin of the ink bottle into the ink hole of the ink cartridge and slowly inject ink. The ink storage chamber of the ink cartridge is divided into two parts: the front part is an empty ink storage chamber, and the part with ink injection holes at the rear is an ink storage chamber with sponge. When injecting ink into the ink storage chamber with sponge, do not inject too much ink (because the ink cannot flow into the ink storage chamber without sponge), and the remaining ink can be added next time

4. After filling up the ink, use toilet paper to suck up the ink from the overflow hole, and then stick adhesive paper to seal the ink injection hole

5. When picking up the ink cartridge, press one end of it against the ink outlet and shake it vigorously. When injecting ink into the ink storage chamber with sponge, some gas may be sealed at the bottom of the sponge and cannot be completely discharged, so it may not be printed without shaking

6. Remove the adhesive tape from the ink outlet and install the ink cartridge into the printer

pay attention to the following three points when inking:

1 If there is a lot of resistance or ink leakage during ink injection, it shows how this print head has successfully applied glass fiber composite materials to the hardware security of the event venue without pollution, which is not suitable for reuse

2. Before inking, check the circuit board for oxidation, and try to inject ink immediately after the ink in the ink cartridge is used up, so as not to dry up the ink jet head. This is particularly important

3. Do not remove the ink cartridge until the ink injection preparations are completed. Never leave the nozzle empty after the ink cartridge is removed
